Research Instrumentation & Computers

Although there are no textbook requirements for PSYC 770, students need to have access to a Windows-based computer (preferably a laptop that can be brought to class).  Two Windows workstations with MATLAB (version R2015a) and appropriate digital I/O ports will be setup in the Heimstra Labs for project development and testing.

In addition, you will need to purchase the student version of the MATLAB software platform as well as a circuit prototyping breadboard and small power supply (see below).

Required Software Application for PSYC770 MATLAB (R2015a) or later (Note: R2019a this is the latest version) Student Version   Available directly from the Mathworks (Purchase the $99 student version).
